Reflective Inquiry into Sagessence: Empowering the Psychologist

1. Overview of The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program'

1.1. The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is a 5 session group online Mentoring Program aimed at psychologists and therapists.

1.2. The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is designed to support psychologists and therapists navigating the midlife transition, —both personally and professionally, through reflective inquiry, psychoeducational themes, and experiential exploration. It offers a psychologically rich and sacred space to explore identity, integration, and the rite of passage that is midlife.

2. Structure of The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program'

2.1. The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' includes:

2.1.1. 5 sessions of mentoring, learning and support held online on Zoom. These calls will be 2 hour sessions each week, with replays if you can’t join us live.

2.1.2. Access to a private community for support (via the platform Slack - free to create your account).

2.1.3. Invitation to our next program: Upon the completion of the initiatory program to Sagessence, we will offer our participants the opportunity to continue deepening and broadening this integration. Both Kirstin and Tammy found that being guided and mentored throughout their peri-menopause years is what ultimately enabled growth and thriving.

3. Relationship with The Centre

3.1. The Sagessence Mentoring Program is operated by Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul. Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul are registered clinical psychologists.

3.2. While Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul are registered clinical psychologists,The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is not a therapy service.

3.3. By consenting to participate in the Sagessence Mentoring Program, participants acknowledge that they are participating in a mentoring program and are not receiving psychological therapy services from Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul.

3.4. To avoid any potential conflicts of interest arising, psychologists who are therapeutic clients of Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul cannot be accepted as participants in the Sagessence Mentoring Program within at least a 2-year time period of cessation of psychological services provided by Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul. Similarly, participants in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' cannot be accepted as therapy clients of Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul within a minimum of 6-months of completion of the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' .

3.5. Any requests for cross-referral or registration between former psychology-clients or supervisees of Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul and The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' will be assessed on a case by case basis, and will only be accepted at Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul’s discretion, depending on the individual circumstances.

3.6. If in the course of participating in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' , issues arise which in Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul’s professional opinion are beyond the scope of the mentoring relationship, a participant may be advised to see their GP and obtain a referral to consult with an appropriate clinician.

3.7. Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul may at any time and in their discretion, terminate a participant’s registration in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' if they consider it appropriate to do so. In the event of termination of a participant’s registration in The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' on this basis, a partial refund of the participant’s registration fees may be provided.

4. Privacy and Disclosure of Personal Information

4.1. As part of your participation in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' , Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul need to collect and record information from you.

4.2. On your registration, we will email you a copy of;

4.2.2. A Participant Information Sheet which we request you read and complete prior to beginning the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' and

5. Technology Requirements

5.1. The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is provided online by video conferencing over Zoom. You are responsible for the costs associated with setting up the technology needed so you can access online content and participate in video conferencing workshops.

5.2. To access The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' ’s content, you will need access to a computer connected to the internet, speakers, Zoom, a webcam and microphone (in built into your computer is sufficient) and a private room or quiet space.

5.3. The privacy of any form of communication via the internet is potentially vulnerable and limited by the security of the technology used.

6. Conditions of Purchase and Intellectual Property

6.1. The All About Her - The Centre for Menopause’s AND Sacred Psychology’s websites, their 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' and all content provided within, is the intellectual property of Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul.

6.2. The reproduction, exploitation, redistribution or use of all or part of any visual, auditory or software element or document from The All About Her - The Centre for Menopause’s AND Sacred Psychology’s websites or the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is prohibited.

7. Fees

7.1. The fees for The Sagessence Mentoring Program are $1320 inclusive of GST

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

8.1. A cooling off period of 72 hours enables registrants to receive a refund of the registration fee for the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' within 72 hours after registering and making payment.

8.2. After the commencement of the course, full or partial refund of the registration fee will be granted at the discretion of The Centre, and ordinarily only in circumstances where a participant’s registration is terminated by Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul in accordance with the terms of Part 3.

9. Consent to participation in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program'

9.1. I confirm that I have read and understood the information in this document about The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' and I acknowledge the following:

9.1.1. The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' is a mentoring service. Although the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul are registered clinical psychologists, this is not a psychological therapy service and I will not be receiving psychological therapy in the course of my participating in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' ;

9.1.2. I am not an existing client or supervisee of Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul and I have not previously accessed psychological services provided by Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul;

9.1.3. As a result of my participation in the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program', I am precluded from accessing psychological services provided by Kirstin Bouse and Dr Tammy Ben-Shaul for a minimum period of 6 months from the completion of the The 'Sagessence Mentoring Program' ;

9.1.4. I have read and understood the The Sagessence Mentoring Program Privacy Policy.
